Graphic Novel HELP!!!!!

TEENS --- WE NEED YOUR HELP!

We have hired a “teen specialist” to come in and help us figure out how to best serve the teens of Flagstaff, but we need your help. We need 10 – 20 teen volunteers who will come to a meeting on Thursday, April 12 from 2:30 – 3:30. We want to hear what you have to say…what do you like about the library, what do you NOT like about the library. We want to listen to you so we will know how to serve you better. Talk to one of the staff if you can attend and let us know if you need help getting out of school early to be here. Help us make the library better for YOU!Free computer passes will be given to volunteers!

Has Anyone Seen "300"?

Hey Teens!
Has anyone seen the movie "300"? It's kind of like watching a graphic novel on the movie screen. Pretty cool effects. Please leave a comment about the movie or the graphic novel it was based on.

Want to help us move some books in the library while earning free computer sessions for yourself? We’ll give you one free half hour session for every half hour you help us. Welcome Back! (and where did the couches go?)

We’re glad you’re back at the Branch Teen Room! It’s gonna be a great year, right? We have a teen meeting coming up on August 31…X-box, food and more!

I suppose you noticed the couches are gone! Here’s the deal. Someone has been cutting big slashes in the couches with a razor blade or knife. We put up signs last week warning that if it keeps up, the couches would be removed. Four new cuts showed up yesterday, so we are removing them…at least temporarily until the teen council can figure out what to do about it.

If anyone has any tips about who might be doing this to YOUR furniture, please tell Bill or Jen. The police have already been here investigating this criminal offense. If stuff like this keeps up, it could even force us to close the Teen Room! We realize it is probably one dummy who is doing this vandalism, so please let us know if you’ve heard anything.

In the meantime, welcome back…it’s good to see you here again!
